On a whim, we decided to take a day trip to Mesa Falls last week. It was fun to go somewhere and the kids did great. The falls were gorgeous and we only got a few mesquitoe bites.

There were amazing fields of flowers all over, so we finally stopped and took a picture in one. So pretty!
We also stopped at a bridge that we could see from the road.

Also on a whim, we stopped in Rexburg on the way back to check out this splash park we've heard people talk about. Amazing! The parents can sit on benches or on the grass while the kids go crazy. We hadn't brought a swimming suit for Johnny, so we just took off his t-shirt and let him run around.
There were tons of perfect Johnny-size geisers.
