| We decided to check our lucky milkweed patch from last year while we were visting Shelley. We found 3 monarch caterpillars! That meant, of course, that we commited to babysitting them for the rest of our trip. They were in cacoons by the time we left and we decided to give traveling a try with 2 of them. |

| Sure enough, they made it! They hatched out only an hour apart from each other even. And for the 1st time we got to watch that happen. The neatness of it all never gets old! |
