Oh how we love our little Lydia!
I must say, however, that there is a lot more head shaking going on by the parents around here now though. We knew our two children would not be the same, but wow. We are just shocked sometimes at how, compared to Johnny, she is here, there, and everywhere. Climbing, dirt digging, water splashing, etc. She loves to flash that smile when we say "no" and still do whatever naughty thing she's doing anyway. One thing we've labeled her as is "the great re-locater", since she spends most of her cruising time picking up random things and just dropping them 10 steps later or relocating them in some other place (not uncommonly: the garbage can). But her giggle is contagious and we just love and admire her strong spirit. But boy do we also feel quite clueless in how to direct all her energy and spicey-ness in the right direction! Ü
