I love that while having a boy and a girl bring out the differences in gender interests and reactions to...life...(poor Lydia spends more time crying over hurt feelings than anything else), the two can still get together and play like the best of friends. I've especially loved watching this as Lydia has gotten older and mobile, so Johnny really does feel like he can play with her and teach her things. I'm sure it's only the beginning of a lot of fun times ahead!
