We'd had a trip planned all summer to attend the Bar J Wrangler dinner and show in Jackson with my parents. It's a well loved place and Matt had never been there. My parents ended up having to skip out, but Matt and I still went and enjoyed a long car ride without having to acknowledge any demands from the backseat--oh yes, and of course a fun show with good food as well! Thanks to my awesome niece who stayed with Johnny so we could have a good time. I always feel a bit like a rebel when I leave my child for so many hours at a time. It can be quite exhilarating really.
